Training [FROSIO certification, Customized courses]

In accommodating your particular requirements, the National Institute of Technology offers customized courses within Surface Treatment, as in all our other specialist fields. Please do not hesitate to contact us for information concerning our customized courses.

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) also offers standard courses. NIT is a FROSIO approved training partner for certification of inspectors according to NS 476. Due to a currently high global demand for FROSIO inspectors, NIT offers courses both in Norway and abroad. In addition to Norway, we currently offer FROSIO certification courses in Europe, Asia and Africa, these being held in English. We also co-operate with interpreters for simultaneous translation of our courses, whenever this is required.

NIT started offering training courses in 1987. Our lecturers work daily with inspections in the field. They are fully updated on problem areas.

FROSIO courses abroad: We offer FROSIO courses in a number of countries, including China, Singapore, Korea, Poland and Norway. The aim of the course is to provide the candidates with theoretical and practical knowledge to meet the requirements of NS 476, being capable of carrying out inspections as well as having knowledge of methods to protect constructions.
